CLOCKSUSHI.COM SERVES UP ONLINE BOOKING FOR FITNESS INSTRUCTORS Bristol, UK, 18th Sept 2008 - Bristol based Diary Systems Ltd. today launched its new on-line booking system designed especially for fitness instructors and sports coaches. The new website, www.clocksushi.com provides individual trainers with the ability to have a web presence that includes making their booking diary available on-line. Chris Gledhill, the companies' chief executive officer explains, "This group of professionals have a unique problem as they rely on their clients making bookings usually by phone, but they are unable to answer their mobile while they are with another client. This often leads to missed calls and playing 'telephone tag' with their clients. Making the coaches diary available on-line allows clients to check availability and make a booking at any time." The website uses text messaging to keep the coaches informed of these bookings. Coaches can also send instructions by text to update the on-line diary with bookings made directly with them. This way a trainers on-line and paper diary are always in sync, avoiding the risk of double bookings. The company has worked with its beta users to identify the functionality trainers and coaches wanted such as full control over their availability and group lessons. On-line payment is supported using Google Checkout. Greg Spink, a tennis coach who has been beta-testing the website observes, "These days, everyone expects you to have some kind of web presence. People organize so much of their lives using the internet that being able offer on-line booking is a real advantage and also saves me a lot of time." Coaches are charged a fee of £24.99/month, or £249.00/year. Client accounts are free and to encourage users to recommend the system to their coaches, a £15 Averys Wine Merchants voucher is offered for a referral that leads to a new coach signing up. Chris Gledhill adds, "We've addressed the unique problems of providing a booking system for professionals who do not typically have Internet access while they are working. Although our initial focus is on the fitness industry, we expect it to have a much wider appeal."
